It’s a two-way conversation between our listeners and our presenters. Our presenters are some of the best known personalities in Ireland and each show offers you something unique and entertaining.
The Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show, from 7am: Every morning, Ian Dempsey wakes up and entertains the nation with a pacey blend of music, comedy, compelling stories, big-name guests, and lively competitions that will have you shouting at your radio.
Dermot & Dave, from 9am: The perfect duo to keep you company and make you smile. They keep things original with comedy from Limerick’s favourite saleswoman, Noni and the worst of bad jokes from Dave. They balance the serious with the not so serious driven by the stories of the day and the topics that matter the most to their listeners.
Mairead Ronan, from 12pm: You find yourself talking back to the radio when Mairead is on-air. In between cracking tunes, Mairead enjoys talking to people from all over the country – helping to solve their woes where she can, whether its relationships, dodgy work behaviour or sharing a bit of gossip.
Fergal D’Arcy, from 2.30pm: When it comes to Fergal D’Arcy it’s all about the music. Kicking off each hour with four in a row, Fergal has big name artist interviews and all the latest music news. With lighter listener chat, and competitions such as The Grand National and the biggest hits, Fergal keeps you company on the school run and the end of the workday.
The Last Word, with Matt Cooper from 4.30pm: The Last Word is one of Ireland’s most cutting-edge current affairs show.Matt Cooper and his guests provide a running stream of intelligent opinions and heated debates on the issues that matter most to Irish listeners, from Covid to Culture and Politics to Personal Finance.
