Media Central X Vodafone

How we drove awareness towards Vodafone’s 'A Stranger’s Tale' audiobook series on Spotify, helping its message to reach over a million people…

Media Central x Vodafone: Weaving "A Stranger's Tale" into the Nation's Airwaves.

Here at Media Central, we recently teamed up with Vodafone for a campaign to launch the ‘A Stranger's Tale’ audiobook series on Spotify. The goal? To get Ireland listening and connecting.

A Symphony of Stations

Media Central orchestrated a full-scale assault on the airwaves, blanketing the country with Vodafone's message. Major national powerhouses like Today FM and Newstalk led the charge, while a vibrant network of Music & Youth stations including 98FM, SPIN 1038, SPIN SW, iRadio, Beat, RedFM, and Classic Hits amplified the buzz.

The campaign wasn't just about radio spots; it was a holistic content experience, featuring week-long promotional activities, engaging articles, and captivating social videos.

  • Deep Engagement: Listeners heard the message an average of 5.1 times, cementing "A Stranger's Tale" in their minds.

  • Total Impacts: A staggering 5.6 million impacts were made across the campaign.

  • Beyond the Airwaves:

    • Article Views: 19,256 curious minds clicked to learn more.

    • Competition Entries: A phenomenal 5,335 people actively engaged by entering competitions.

    • Social Views: The campaign's social videos racked up an incredible 126,763 views.

“The campaign was probably one of my favourites I've ever done. The stories were gorgeous and all got lots of feedback from listeners. We shed a tear, we laughed and we travelled the globe. It was genuinely lovely!”
